Two Players Hit $1.8 Billion Powerball Jackpot
Two lucky lottery players from Missouri and Texas will share the record-shaking $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot, drawn on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The winning numbers were: 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, with the Powerball 17.
This jackpot ranks as the second-largest in U.S. lottery history, building up over 41 consecutive drawings since the last jackpot was won on May 31, 2025.
Payout Options
Each winning ticket is valued at around $893.5 million under the annuity option, paid over 29 years.
If winners opt for the cash lump sum, which most do, they will receive about $410.3 million each before taxes.
Where the Winning Tickets Were Sold
The Texas ticket was purchased at a gas station-convenience store in Fredericksburg.
The Missouri ticket’s exact location has not yet been revealed.
Other Big Winners
The jackpot wasn’t the only prize handed out Saturday night:
Two tickets (in Kansas and Texas) matched all five white balls with the Power Play option, earning $2 million each.
18 tickets nationwide matched all five white balls, winning $1 million each.
This historic drawing once again highlights the incredible excitement and life changing payouts of the Powerball lottery.
